
The Information Systems Workshop, co-hosted by Research Center for Digital Economy (Greater Bay Area), Tsinghua University and the Institute of Digital Economy and Innovation (IDEI), The University of Hong Kong, was successfully held on December 12, 2024. Taking place at the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, the Workshop aims to delve into the latest emerging topics in Information Systems and discuss strategies for carrying out high-quality research.

During the workshop, speakers provided valuable insights into PhD students’ learning and research during the doctoral stage. They addressed several key questions, such as strategies for advancing multiple research projects simultaneously, the importance of extensive literature reading, whether PhD students should master multiple research methods or specialize in one, and the approach to data discovery and problem-solving in research, etc.

De WEN, the AI technical leader of Research Center for Digital Economy (Greater Bay Area) of Tsinghua University, introduced Tsing AI Agentic Workflow (TsingAW), adding another enriching dimension to the Workshop.
